Also, what I've seen is essentially the same at the failed WoW TCG that I played for about a year. It was fun, but it just made me want to play more Magic.

This game looks pretty cool. Been watching some livestreams of it, and its left me really hoping that I can get into the beta soon.

@kylenalepa: Looks very nice! Slick and maybe even fun. Though, it seems like they could be doing more with it, and visually, 1/3 of the screen is just set dressing. That seems like a real missed opportunity.

I've never played a card game before, but given the fact I have some background with Warcaft and WoW concepts, and how accessible Blizzard likes to make things lately, I might have to check this out.

I want a beta for this so bad. Looks liek a lot of fun.

Have they said what the monetary model is going to be? I'm assuming it's F2P with purchasable booster decks.

I'm not sure I like being able to directly attack your opponent life points without destroying all the monsters on the field first. That might be because I only played Yu Gi oh and Pokemon CCG wise iwhen I was younger

Over on Reddit, they discovered you can install the client as long you have the latest desktop Battle.net client also installed. The client is here: http://dist.blizzard.com/downloads/hs-installers/a6029a1d625c79252defff3914fb6e67/beta.1/Hearthstone-Beta-Setup-enUS.exe. You can't actually play the game without getting a beta key, though, so think of this as the brave future of pre-loading free-to-play closed beta digital games.
