discovering the body in the bathtub that I was genuinely terrified, then seeing what becomes of those bodies and possibly me was just disturbing. Despite knowing it was gonna happen, hearing the taxidermist arrive home was still scary since there was nowhere to hide. Instinct told me to hide under the bed in that room and it was there I nervously waited. It's moments like these the controls really shine, because holding the controller in that awkward position gave me cramps and this just added to the immersion. Seeing him look under the other bed made me consider changing hiding spots, but I hid anxiously until he finally walked in the room. By that point the tension was unbearable and when he found me I nearly soiled myself.
 
Unfortunately, I didn't survive that fight. Stabbed in the chest. Normally, I would've left it at that. But since this was a prequel I tried it again, this time hiding in the same room behind one of the stuffed bodies. I knew it wasn't a good hiding spot and he immediately found me, but this time I made it out of the room and down the stairs, into the garage, couldn't get the door open, back into the house, tried the front door, it was locked. Shit. This cat & mouse continued for some time before coming to a horrifying conclusion in the upstairs bedroom. I was stabbed again, only this time I saw him drag my corpse into the bathroom.

Round 3. What should I do? Should I hide in this? Should I hide in that? Should I hide in there? A sick thought came across my mind: maybe I could hide in the bathtub? I tiptoed my way in there and was somewhat relieved to find it wasn't a viable hiding place, yet shocked to think I even considered that. With little time I just hid behind the door and like I would in real life tried my best not to look at the bathtub. Once again, he discovered me immediately and I made it downstairs, into the garage, straight for the fucking CHAINSAW. How did I forget it was in here? I grabbed that son of a bitch and frantically yanked the controller to make it start. Hearing the motor kick in was one of the most satisfying moments in gaming as who was once the damsel in distress had turned the tables on this sick bastard. After a tense confrontation I literally sawed the dudes junk and finally made it out outta there alive.
