The Firefly Diary is looking really interesting. In some ways, it sort of makes me think of what the result would be if Nippon Ichi (normally known for their goofball strategy RPGs) made something with a tone that was more akin to a game like Ico. It's also, to be honest, one of the very few upcoming Vita games that I actually have interest in playing. But it comes out later this year, and if nothing else, I would love to give it a shot.

It's actually a corruption of the game's Japanese subtitle, Hotaru no Nikki (which is just The Firefly Diary in Japanese).

Weird! Guess that's just one of those quirks of this all this translation business.

Yeah, it's really one of those things that people aren't going to get entirely without knowledge of the Japanese version.

Might check it out but I've never like any NIS game that wasn't Disgaea Team or VanillaWare...

That looks god damn gorgeous and something that would be right up my alley. Too bad I'll probably never get a Vita :/.

As an owner of a Vita that's barely even touched the darn thing, I'm happy to see something exclusive for it catching my interest.
