    Overview

    Hypnospace Outlaw is a 2D comedy point-and-click adventure game developed by Tendershoot and published digitally by No More Robots for the PC, Mac, and Linux on March 12, 2019.

    Taking place in a fake computer operating system (known as Merchantsoft HypnOS Enforcer Edition, accessed through revolutionary "sleeptime computing"), players are tasked with patrolling the Hypnospace: a social media platform reminiscent of late-1990's Internet.

    While scouring both innocent and dark corners of Hypnospace to remove content that violate its laws (including copyright infringement, bullying, and malicious software), players can hunt for hidden secrets, learn about its inhabitants, and spend Hypnocoin on bonus in-game content (including music, desktop stickers and wallpapers, screensavers, themes, and applications such as virtual pets).

    On August 27, 2020, the game received not only a major update (the "Hypnospace PLUS" update, adding a variety of new content), but ports by Ratalaika to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
