Are people sure the fire part is real? I mean I know it looks like he throws a fireball in that trailer, but I've found some of the red electric powers in the first game look sort of fireball-esque. 

Heat miser and snow miser are the shit. Those clips bring back memories.

I usually play good, but I always liked the heat miser song better...

This game looks like it's turning out to be a slice of fried gold. Me want.

I hope so because Electricity is uber lame. 
 
I hope it doesn't set it up the way you explained though, i don't want to have to be a certain character just to have one power, and since when does Ice = Good, Fire = bad there are tons of evil characters in games, comics, and film who have Ice powers.

Ice and Napalm, depending on who you allign with (those 2 chicks, one good, one evil). They transfer their power to you (its on the first lvl before you start crying spoilers, it was on last week's GTTV)

I dunno, I think feels kinda stupid having a superhero/villian with more than one superpower, or atleast two that doesn't make any sense. Ice and Electricity? Not a big fan of the rod either, I think electricity should be his only weapon. That way it's more interesting when he does unique things with it. Okay I admit it simply want a game where you play as if you where Elektro.

I love the idea, infact i called it before Infamous 2 was even announced. I wanted fire in the first game over electricity.
 
Hopefully there's even more in Infamous 3! electricity is such a lame power, and it makes perfect sense, the conduit thingies were what gave the people powers correct? and he got another one and increased his power its not so much of a stretch to assume that if he got more he would get different abilities. It makes far more sense than his future self pulling time traveling out his ass.

Too bad you don't get any of Kesslar's powers, a Braid like Time travel mechanic would have been awesome.
