    Overview

Infinity Blade: Dungeons would be the third game made of the Infinity Blade franchise, with a different approach to gameplay turning into a top-down dungeon-crawling RPG. It was being developed by Impossible Studios, former employees of Big Huge Games.

    Project Hiatus

On February 8, 2013, Epic Co-Founder Tim Sweeney, had announced that Epic would be severing ties with Impossible Studios, citing irreconcilable differences. As a result development on Infinity Blade: Dungeons would be put on hold until further notice.

"...we saw the opportunity to help a great group of people while putting them to work on a project that needed a team. It was a bold initiative and the Impossible folks made a gallant effort, but ultimately it wasn’t working out for Epic." - Tim Sweeney
