    The Culmination of a Series

King's Quest VI is the pinnacle of a long running and critically acclaimed series of adventure games. I consider it to be the finest example of the point-and-click Sierra-developed titles. The story feels in every way like a fairy tale. The writing is excellent, the entire experience thick with poetry and humor. The voice acting on the CD-ROM version is superb, with peerless lip-syncing. The puzzles are clever and inventive. Even the death scenes are entertaining to watch. Save often, just because you're going to want to see all the ways that the main character can lose his life.

As a pure experience, I strongly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a good tale. At times, playing it feels like curling up with a good book, even if you're playing the audio-enhanced version. A magnificent journey from beginning to end.
