I am currently the proud owner of a LittleBigPlanet 2: Collector's edition and have quite enjoyed the game in the 3 hours I've played it.

That is until I booted it up again after downloading my collector bonuses.
I have now been plagued with a gigantic button in my pod whenever I start up the game. This button does many things: Blocks half the screen, negates the ability to put stickers anywhere and worst of all, doesn't let me access my pod computer (the PS3 controller at the front).

I seriously can't do anything about this button. I've tried grabbing it and deleting it but that doesn't work. I tried loading another pod, neither. Please Giant Bomb! Help me continue to love Sackboy and his little big world!!

I guess you should delete all the game data (not the save data) and try re-downloading everything.

The plushy is made of a carpet-like material, sort of a soft leather.  So yeah, it's pretty soft.

All doors are closed and will remain closed until I get this working again. Untill then, enjoy this sample.

And by the way, this didn't work either. Time to flame the higher-ups at MM.

Totally suffering from this very thing. It seems the only way to play the game right now is to delete my profile, start from the very beginning all over and to never turn the game off cause the second I do, giant, blurry ball thing is there.

Try turning your PS3 on and off. This fixed the problem for me. Hope it does the same for anyone else with this terrible glitch!

Also works for when you need to lubricate something.

It seems pretty random. Sometimes it's there, other times it's not. This works but only sometimes. I will be waiting for the patch soon!

I got the same problem. The only solution I found is to delete your Profile in the Game Data Utility, deleting your progress at the same time. I've just done the first level, soo I didn't mind that bad, but if you made a lot of progress, suck to be you.

This is what I had to do too. Luckily I was only a few minutes in. Hope I don't have to do it again.

@M_33: Had the same thing happen, but my pod was right in the middle of my Planet.  All I did was turn my PS3 off for a few minutes then played it again!
