So yea they stated a while ago that there would be no PC version due to lackluster sales of 2008 and "rampant piracy" (rrrright) First off this game was on shelves at stores for $30 around where I live. Second off the PC version just looked the worst out of all the versions the released and third the game ran like an off brand energy drink. Slow and Choppy... Basically I just don't get how companies like EA and Crytek can turn around and blame Piracy (which btw doesn't only happen on the PC *gasp*) for a crappy game or crappy port of a game? It just doesn't make sense. And then to try to make an Anti-Piracy charge by saying O you naughty, naughty PC users, many of you downloaded our game (we don't have stats but we will just look at the number on isohunt) now we shall shun you for all eternity (french accent ofcourse)

Oy it just hurts them more to do crap like that instead of just making a quality game and making a quality port... Crysis is another story, great game, nothing to play it on... Only reason people pirated that was to make sure it worked. You can say go download the demo stupid noobish thief but as most of us know that demo was TEH SUCK at measuring up if the game would work and the system specs were even more off... EA, you have awesome games lined up including Spore, Mirrors Edge and Warhammer... Let's get it in gear please!

Btw Moderator (if ya read this, didn't know whether to post this in the EA thread and get flamed by EA fanboys or post it in here since this and crysis are two examples of them F*ing up with this crap) thanks

It basically boils down to them saving money as opposed to cutting out a segment of gamers that want the product at all. The costs of investing serious development into a platform that doesn't appeal to the audience that plays the genre itself is already foolish to begin with. Reguardless of the quality, the PC won't ever likely be a sustainable market for sports games.

Also, I think people had ulterior motives for downloading Crysis other than testing it.
