Swing and a Miss 1
Lots of good things going for Marvel's Avengers. The audio quality and graphical design is impressive, the story is sound, and the multiplayer engaging. Sadly this is all heavily outweighed by repetitive combat, jarring multiplayer desync, disappointing loot system, intermittent frame stutter, and underwhelming progression. The game does have potential. Future updates and fixes could save this game, but in its current state I recommend avoiding....

It is fun, and most of the characters are enjoyable and different. The abilities are good and fun to unlock. I do have two criticisms. One, the combat gets hectic in a bad way quite frequently. This leads to what I'll call "annoying" deaths and unenjoyable encounters sometimes. Two, the current mission structure and character skill trees do not have long tails on them. It gets repetitive once you unlock about half of skills and finish the main campaign. Hopefully new content drops will significa...
