I just don't understand? gamestop lists mass effect 2 as 19.99 (brand spankin new), but 59.99 for ps3? can I be the first to say what the fuck?

It's "newer" and comes with most of the DLC.

It's 30 dollars worth of DLC....but not really though...overlord was cool the rest not so much. If this was the case with fallout then it wold be worth the extra charge.

@charliesheen22: With you on that. 59.99 is still 2 much even with all the dlc and that motion comic that bridges the gap from mass 1.

Didn't they use an updated engine as well as including the DLC? It hasn't been out for that long on the PS3 either.

The problem is your looking at Gamestop. Look around online and you'll find it cheaper.

Its been 20 bucks for the ps3 version for long while now in the stores around here.

There's a sale on all of the Mass Effect 2 DLC, on Xbox Live, coming in the next week or so. I've seen a lot of new copies of Mass Effect 2 on 360 go for $10. 
 
I have the PC version, but I'm going to add up all of the DLC that's on sale + $10 for the core game, and see if it's worth it.

Don't buy it. $60 for an old port is a crappy way to be.

The game is definitely worth 60 bucks but it depends on how much you want to play it. It really is pretty damn amazing.

The PS3 version is also supposed to be using the ME3 engine, so maybe it's better all around.  Masterpiece whichever version you buy.  Don't hesitate if you can afford it.  But sometimes I guess it's good to be an Xbot.
