    Game » consists of 21 releases. Released Jan 26, 2010

    After a violent death by an unknown force and a timely reanimation by the human supremacist organization Cerberus, Commander Shepard must assemble a new squad in the seedier side of the galaxy for a suicide mission in the second installment of the "Mass Effect" trilogy.

    Is a crapped up playthough not worth importing?

    Well I have a confession that I only played though Mass Effect once (-- probably because it took around 20 hours the first time and another 20 hours sounded too much) and in that I made some pretty bad choices

    SPOILER WARNING: Click here to reveal hidden content.

    Also choosing the most boring class with the most boring appearance.
    But if your ship supposedly gets destroyed, then your old crew will (hopefully) die, meaning who you killed off isn't important.
    Anyone know about this?

    Well you can change your appearance and your class at the beginning of the second game. So don't worry about that. But as for who you killed, you're going to have to live with those choices.

    To be honest, you're not missing much if you made some bad choices in 1.
    The amount of stuff that you may miss can fit into a single youtube video. not even kidding. :P

    You don't really need to import your own save, there are some small advantages, but...

    You have a conversation with Miranda Lawson and she asks if you remember what happened in the events of ME1. In that conversation you will set your backstory, so if you want to kill wrex, save ash, kill the queen, kill the council, and be an ass to conrad verner, then you can.

    Ok, I guess I will have to live with fucking Kadien and no Rex but it's a new crew so they're probably getting replaced. Anyone got the deal with what crew from ME1 you get if you don't import

    @Jayross: No. It sets a predetermined canon. You get asked about your feelings on your psych profile event and virmire situation (depending on what gender you are, same gendered one dies i think)
    @mattysen:
    The crew from ME1 that you get is the same regardless of import. Garrus and Tali.
