I played a Vanguard in the last game and with that power very well may do so again.  I have to say that Bioware has done a great job making all the classes have their own unique appeal though, it'll be tough to choose.

Vanguard was my favorite class last time around;  I was really looking forward to swapping over to Engineer for the stealth move, however that new Biotic Charge move may shake things up, looks pretty damn cool. I just hope they keep the Achievement/Reward system the same so you can outfit the Vanguard w/ Singularity at some point.

Was there always that blood crap on the screen when you were injured?  I don't remember that in the first game.  I'll have to check later today.  If not, then I think that effect is getting way overused in games today.

I did a Vanguard my first play through.  I hope to start ME2 with a different class.  Either soldier or adept.

OMG that was really cool, although brute force is never my choice.  I will probably have fun with this on a second playthrough.

    OMG OMG OMG.

Seriously though. Nothing looks cooler than that Charge ability. Totally changes the combat.

I was not compelled at all to use anything other then the straight up soldier class for the first game, and I think it's amazing that they have found ways to make the classes look really awesome for the sequel. I think the improved combat and also visuals are helping with my own personal reasons for wanting to play all the classes now, seeing enemies frozen like that then the charge that punts them away...   to see them smash into a box after that, is very very cool.
