Started playing the game on Xbox One last night and was riffling through the House listings to find anyone from Giant Bomb (or friends of the site) I could use for my Vanguard Houses.

I managed to find Brad Muir, Justin Calvert, Rich Gallup (I think, the house battlecry is "Produced!"). I used my own house and a random one to fill out the others.

Really wish I did find one other person's house though. Definitely find myself caring more about the Giant Bomb related people's descendants rather than the random house.

Has anyone out there managed to find any other Giant Bomb related Houses?

Did you find the Ryan Davis tribute house? You don't mention it in your list, which is why I ask. It's listed under Davis. Where is Brad Muir's? I looked but didn't find him.

I did add Ryan's house in my game. Totally forgot to mention. That's really bad of me.

Brad Muir is under the house name "Muir". I think there are 2 Muir houses, but his is the one with the battlecry ":D".

I'm looking for it, but I only see the one Muir. That's kind of weird.

The other one might be in the "serious" or "non-serious" list, if they still have that. You can opt in to using both or just the serious lists depending on your tastes.

Oh yep, you know what, you're right. Found it now. Anyone find any others?

Ah, released first for Xbox One, and free on Games for Xbox Gold. Huh. Well, I guess that's good publicity for them. I wonder when the full release is today.

Can you create your own house, or do you have to choose an existing one?

Greg Kasavin's is House Kasavyn, male founder Grigori. John Drake is in there, too, under Drake.

You choose 5 houses at the beginning to be your 5 families. It's from a massive list though. Or you could just go random.

I did go for "both" when it came to the naming convention option. Didn't want to miss out on anyone.

Oh man, guess they changed the early game a lot. I haven't played since I did a playthrough when it first hit early access, and you had to bust your balls to manually recruit heroes until you had successfully finished construction of a few different keeps where you could start a lineage.

That still might be how it is on the harder difficulty. The start you off on normal and tutorial mode, so maybe without tutorial mode on you get more ball busting.

My starting lineup is House Muir (Brad), Schafer (Tim), Kasavyn (Greg), Drake (John), and Davis (of course).

There is House Walker for Austin Walker.

Oh shit! That's a good lineup! I think I'm about to fail my first game, looking forward to starting a new one with 5 Houses that I like.

I don't know if this is from Mary or if it's just a coincidence, but I am using a Kish vanguard.
