PS4 Collector's Editions of MGSV weren't shipped with pre-order/Day One Edition voucher codes. Konami has to send them to sellers, to be emailed to customers. Xbox One versions are unaffected and WILL have the codes in the game case.

PS4 Collector's Editions missing voucher codes
I ordered the PS4 CE from Best Buy on March 16th since I have the Gamers Club Unlocked with them. Got the email about an hour ago saying it was backordered. They said because I updated my billing and shipping addresses in June, I lost my spot. I'm leaving the backorder alone in hopes I'll get one and will just pick up a regular Day One edition on Tuesday
I spoke to Amazon regarding my pre-order, they say they'll be emailing the codes after the games ship.
Thanks for letting me know about this. Hopefully I'll get the code by the time the order is delivered.
Have there been any games that broke street date because so many copies were already being sold? I doubt Konami will release early even if people are getting them all over from local stores.
Big games are always released early by various stores in small and large amounts, all over the world. I'm not sure what that has to do with this, though.
Anyone ordered the LE from Game.co.uk? Got my confirmation Wednesday about my copy being shipped. Should only take 1-2 days from my house. Got a email today about a delivery confirmation for September 1st, which suggests they are holding back my parcel.
Anyone else got this? If it was the standard game, I am sure I would have gotten it early.
@thesecondagent: We're all thinking it's got to do with bank holidays.
Luckily the missing codes deal seem to be for North America, Canada only so far. Still think I'll open my CE at the store after payment just in case.

I ordered the standard edition from GAME and it hasn't arrived today.
GAME used to ship so the game came a day (or two) early but they don't seem to do that now. They have a notice on the site for MGS5 saying that all pre-orders had to be in by 1pm Friday to guarantee the game on release day. I assume they are shipping the title on Saturday for delivery to customers Tuesday, which is the release day so you can't complain with that. However it wouldn't be the first time I haven't had a pre-order title on release day from GAME, even without bank holidays to worry about.
To be honest, if we get the game Tuesday it will still really be 3 days early for UK customers. Games should really come out on a Friday in the UK, as-is the norm. I don't like change...
@shindig: I got Mad Max from Shopto this morning!
I finally got an email from amazon.ca with a shipping estimate. I'll get this damn thing afterall :D
It won't be tuesday, but I'm actually fine with that. I'm getting Mad Max and that will give me some time to play that before diving into MGSV.
Same, my delivery estimate is sept 8 or 9th. I might just pick it up on the xbox live marketplace so I can play it at midnight or whatever.
I am pretty sure it came with a release day guarantee but I am getting it for 49 dollars so I am not going to risk contacting a csr
@somejerk: Konami conformed on Twitter that it only applies to North & South American collectors editions.
@lowestformofwit: I agree with you man. I'm complaining because I am such a child, and want it now xD But I am lucky, I was able to secure the LE even though the arm is small.
I just found it to be very odd. They told me the game was dispatched on Wednesday morning with a tracking I.D (it's 3hours away from me). Then today, there was an email from the courier stating that the parcel wasn't received for delivery from Game. Odd, since it doesn't take 3 day's to reach a 3 hour hour location. I contacted Game via email (to no reply) and then talked to a member through their online chat system. I explained everything and she told me, there's no tracking for being on the road and before I could ask anymore questions....she dropped the mic, and closed the chat. I might sound a little crazy here, but the only explanation I can think of, is that they are holding back my parcel because I hear they have been in trouble for early releases in the past.
I'll get the game on Tuesday (dam bank holiday), but gosh....Game has declined in quality, right? They used to be better than this.
