Moby Jones

Overview

Born in England and raised by Trinidadian parents, Moby is a rider that has been a mainstay on the SSX world circuit since the inaugural events in 2000. He took a year off when the circuit went On Tour, but Moby is clearly a force to be reckoned with on any mountain in the world. His fearless approach to the sport leads some unorthodox tricks but also allows him to take death defying shortcuts that other competitors may not even see, much less attempt.

SSX

Even at 18 years-old, Moby is considered a veteran on a snowboard. He is regarded by some as a loose cannon, and while Moby is no stranger to injury, he is also one of the more well-rounded athletes in snowboard supercross.

Moby has built a reputation on being the most fearless rider on the SSX circuit. He first made a name for himself as a BMX rider hailing from Brixton, England and transitioned his small town fame into a pro snowboarding career. Now 20 years old, Moby sees the next generation hot on his heels and is determined to keep his spot on the middle podium.

SSX (2012)

Born in Brixton in 1982, Moby was a local legend by the age of ten. By eighteen, he had transitioned from a small town hero to a worldwide superstar by trading in his bike and skateboard for a snowboard on the SSX circuit. When his close friend, Zoe Payne, put out a call to restart the SSX world circuit, Moby was quick to jump at the chance to defy death one more time.
