I haven't seen this anywhere so I'll post it.
 
I know quite a few people do not take any joy in using the pistol, although I am not one of them, and simply want to get their 75 kills to unlock the Tactical knife.
 
I just started leveling my M9 yesterday and I've found a great leveling method, which as previously mentioned, I have not seen anyone talking about.
 
Basically I'm using Scavenge ( You don't need +), Stun Grenades, and of course the M9 (Use whatever you want the knife with.).
 
I really shouldn't have to go more into it than that. Stun, Shoot, Scavenge, Repeat.
 
In just a few matches yesterday I got about 50 pistol kills with no real problems. The reason this works so well is because you can take complete advantage of the Stun because of the quickness of the Pistol. It takes relatively no time at all to aim with a pistol and if you are accurate you can drop an opponent before they have any time to react.
 
Of course, if you can stealth that shit it is pretty easy to drop just about anyone if you can fire fast enough. This method however makes it pretty easy for anyone to get the75 kills as long as you stay out of the direct line of site.
 
Remember, if you are using a Pistol and someone spots you first you are dead unless you run like hell.
 
Consequently, this method also works pretty well for Throwing Knife kills as well.

it would be a good method, but tbh if I ever wanted to use a Tactical Knife, I would use the one with the default class. I'm just too attached to my G18 to switch.

Knife kills with the default count towards the Tactical Knife too. "

u can also play in hardcore so it will be easy to kill people.

Use the M93 Raffica instead, no Tact Knife, and it's classified as a Machine pistol, but it is the best pistol in the game. Here's a link

I found the easiest way to level up my USP was in Hardcore, considering it takes 1-2 shots from it to kill someone.  Levelled it up quite fast actually.
