    NBA Street V3 Review

NBA Street has always been a great series. It took street basketball, added pros into the mix, and made a really fun expierience. Now for V3, all this and more returns for the best NBA Street game to date.

It may have seemed impossible, but the gameplay is even better in this game. Tricks are now done by moving the analog stick in different directions or by doing this and using different turboes combined. This "Trick Stick" may seem like a bad idea at first, but after you try it, you'll never want to go back to the old way again. The Gamebreaker system has also been improved. When the Gamebreaker meter is filled, you can go up for a Gamebreaker dunk and do tricks before you actually dunk it by using the "Trick Stick" to gain more points for your dunk. Sometimes your other teammates will jump up with you and you can pass it to them to further increase the amount of points you get. (Be careful though, you can miss these.) This game also advances of the "Of The Heezay" move from the last game, and adds the "Off the Footay" and "Off the Bootay" moves. Other than that, the gameplay stays the same, and it is still great.

The main single-player mode has you create a character and compete in Street Challenges, pick-up games, tournaments etc, gaining more skills and better teammates along the way. The game also has a fun multi-player mode for up to 4 players. There is also online. The game also has a Dunk-Contest mode. Where you you can set-up objects to jump over, and then jump up and use the "Trick Stick" to do moves. You can also do different off-the-backboard moves to catch the ball in the air while flying through the to the basket. There are three customization modes. Create-A-Player, Create-A-Court, and Create-A-Team. Create-A-Player is pretty deep. Create-A-Court is also very deep, letting you do things like picking the condition of the lines and the graffitti on the walls. Create-A-Team isn't very deep and doesn't have to be.

In conclusion NBA Street V3 is a great game. I reccomend it to everyone, wheter your a basketball fan or not.

Does V3 stand tall against it's superb predecessor? 0

NBA Street V3 seemed like a pretty big step ahead for EA BIG. NBA Street 2 was already a huge game so the company had a rock solid base to build this game on. V3 boasts with new updated rosters, flashy moves and urban baller gear. I was pretty blown away the first time I played it but the game wasn't that impressive after all, at least to me. First of all, the most noticable change from Vol 2 is the graphics engine. It has been completely remade and now it's artistic relying more on lightning a...
