Me wantee!!
I stand by my original comment: I thought this would never happen.
I think people just enjoy the Greek setting and the weird take on the monsters and stuff and wanted to see what that would look like today. At the time the game was sort of a mix of Metroid and Zelda, which was kinda cool, but I'm definitely happy with the new direction.
But I did like that it started with "sorry to keep you waiting" and ended with an eggplant man. God damn eggplant men.
I'm with you, dawg. I rented Kid Icarus back in the day and hated it. Nintendo Power kept raving about it so I hired it again, going through it with the game hints. Still sucked. I tried it again just a couple of years ago on an emulator and I still don't get the Kid Icarus love.
I can only assume that it has less to do with the game itself, and more to do with Pit being the last of Nintendo's really old characters that has not yet received some sort of revival.
Personally, I'm just a tensy bit disappointed that he looks just like he did in Brawl.
