Let the cavalcade of announcements timed with the Game Developers Conference commence! Croteam and Devolver Digital are first out of the gate this morning with Serious Sam 3: BFE, the next installment in what's probably the last first-person shooter franchise at this point with no sort of cover system.
As you might guess from the name, BFE is set partially in Egypt (a crumbling 22nd-century version, at least). Here's the boilerplate straight out of the press release.

Devolver has been cranking out those high-def versions of previous Serious Sam games for a while now, so it's nice that they're not above making a totally new one as well.
