So there was that recent 3DS update that brought the Miiverse and Nintendo Network to the handheld. I performed the update with no issue, created a Nintendo Network ID and logged into the eShop with the ID all right.
The problem arose when I tried relinking my UK Club Nintendo account to my eShop and Nintendo Network accounts. When I enter and submit my Club Nintendo login details it spits back an error 011-7401 saying my email and/or password is incorrect.
The problem there is there login details are most definitely correct as I can log in to the Club Nintendo account on the web just fine. Googling the error code came up with it be I g a hotspot issue but since I've tried on a number of different ones already (and downloaded the latest X/Y update just fine) that probably isn't it.
Emailing Nintendo about the issue hasn't been the easiest experience either. One email response per day, all to tell me that the account can be linked and that it was probably down to server congestion and that it should be linkable now. Except that I'm still getting the error when I've tried to link it at different times during today.
At this stage I could do with any advice on how to fix this. If anyone has encountered this, or heard of anyone who has and how they fixed it?
