Hi! So I have the original Nintendo 3DS and I've recently started using it a bit more. Now, I don't love these games enough to go out and buy the whole new 3DS XL or even the 2DS XL or whatever it's called (I actually like the 3D effects in some games), when I already have a perfectly good system that can play any game, or at least any game I've tried to play, just fine. So I was thinking, 3DS screens are cheap. Like, REALLY cheap. $20 bucks on eBay cheap. From what I can tell, the only thing between the 3DS and XL screens are the size, which is what I want. The connectors seem to be the same. So I was thinking, why not just remove the 3DS screen (which is scratched on mine anyways due to the bottom screen hitting the top screen) and attach the XL screen to the system? Sure, it wouldn't look that great and it probably wouldn't close all the way, but hey, it's a $20 mod that makes your screen a heck of a lot of bigger. I dunno, just something I thought of. If I get bored with my 3DS again I'll probably give it a shot. What are your guys' thoughts? Has anyone else tried doing something like this?

I would wonder about the power requirements of the two screens
