So one of the the main things I've heard, since the Switch's announcement trailer, is the possibility of a whole shit ton of peripherals. With the detachable joy-cons there could easily be a bunch of different controller options implemented.
The one I could actually see myself getting is a left joy-con with a d-pad. I have a huge gap in my gaming history of SNES games. I've been thinking about picking up a 3DS or Wii U to fill this gap, but the Switch looks cool, and I really want to play the new Zelda, so unless the price point is too high I will be waiting for it's release. But I don't want to play classic Nintendo games with a joy stick or face buttons instead of a d-pad. A d-pad option seems pretty obvious to me.
I'm sure if Nintendo opens the flood gates there will be plenty of bad options as well though-fishing rod comeback?. Are there any you can see being obvious? Good or bad.
