    Which would you say is the best game to play? I'm in a way too long debate with one of my friends on which he should be playing during winter break.

    I played AC II and loved it to death (got a platinum trophy, bought all DLC). 
     
    Haven't bought the Sims 3 yet.

    Easily assassin's creed 2. Pc version might be choppy if you don't have the greatest cpu. It actually uses all 8 of my hyper threads on my i7. Someone on the forum with a quad core also had stuttering, so I think having more threads is helpful, also of course more power. It's something to keep in mind, even if you bought it, you might have to turn down some settings or it can get choppy. I still say it's the better game and sims 3 is more casual.

    Assassin's Creed II and Sims 3 seem like such strange games to compare. If he has nothing but free time on his hands, he should play the Sims 3. That game will eliminate any free time.

    AC2 you beat in a weekend, Sims 3 is a nice burn on PC.
