Would you pay for persona 4 dlc?

Four dollars for a new social link. You pay three or four bucks and now you can do the cooking club social link, or join the a/v club instead of drama. That would be pretty awesome, episodic persona content.

Than they'll have you to give you more social links day which I doubt they can do.

I don't know how I would feel about that. They would kind of feel tacked on and would probably ruin 100% runs for people trying to get every social link to Max. Also what arcana would they be attached to? They would have to make whole new sets of Persona for just one social link.

No, no extra days you just don't do the old link. And no arcana, it's just new story bits and a new friend to hang out with.

It's a pretty good bet that it's not going to happen with Persona 4, but I wouldn't mind dropping $15-25 on a P3:FES/P4:Golden style expansion for Persona 5 when it rolls around.

i'd pay for that. an extra dungeon with a meat theme to it would be pretty funny, especially whatever Chie's thoughts would be on it.

Vita games do get dlc, it's not insane to happen to golden.

I wouldn't mind a boss rush dlc, a chance for Persona 3 Characters vs Persona 4 Characters (Besides Arena).

True, but it's likely not going to happen for P4:Golden. The game has been out for six months in Japan without any hint of DLC, and by the time it finally hits all regions in February, it will have been out for nine months in Japan.

At best you might get something that's easy to develop and integrate into the game like costumes or a boss rush mode, but don't expect significant chunks of new content. There won't be enough interest and the costs of development and translation are simply too high to justify it.

Then they'd have to introduce new personas or re-purpose old personas into whatever new arcana they add with that social link. Honestly, Persona 4 Golden doesn't need any DLC. It's jam packed with content already. Maybe add new costumes, but that's all I can see them adding at this point.

I feel this is the only sort of DLC they could release for a game of Persona's size. Anything story related would either have to put at the end of the main story (and, in turn, require the user to have a "cleared" save file), or you'd have to replay the entire game to experience said DLC. I can only think of one JRPG I ever saw any DLC for and that was Lost Odyssey. That particular DLC was sort of a bonus dungeon that took place just before you entered the final dungeon. If you already stepped into the last dungeon, and didn't have a save before that, you were boned. :P

I really wanted to join the A/V club...So yeah, I'd pay 4 bucks to do that instead of the dopey Drama or Music clubs.

What about DLC that includes a PvP arena. You take your best team of 6 Personas up against someone elses.

That seems a little nuts though. If anything, they'd probably just add more outfits for your party to wear.

Yes! Make it so that when you access the Meat Dimension, you enter battle with an optional boss that rewards you with some awesome persona or weapon upon defeat.

It would be cool to have party members from the previous games as DLC. It would be easy enough to do, and I would probably end up buying some of them.

I'll pass, thanks. As much as I love P4G, I don't see the need to really add anything to the overall package. Save the DLC ideas for P5.
