Last generation I mainly bought used games, for the obvious reasons, but this time around I found myself buying most of my games digitally. For years I have had a second PSN account (created to be able to buy Persona 3 on PS3 as they did not sell it in EU at all) and I have been using that on my PS4 to purchase games (which is way cheaper for me and still get the developers more money than if I bought used games). Now, a couple of days ago there was a sale on some DLC on my local, EU account. I bought some and it got stuck after it downloaded, the console refused to install the content. A quick web search showed me that the game from US store was a different file than the one sold in my country (different languages etc.) and they were not compatible. The question is, if I have a game and I decide to buy a DLC, will it still be aviable for me to play on the other account? I have noticed that when I bought CoD, I got some DLC trinkets for pre-ordering, but those are not visible on my main account. I don't care about that, but if I buy new content for let's say Destiny, will I be able to play it? And what about season passes, is it ok to log on to my US account, spend money, download and then switch back? Thanks.

I think CoD is one of the exceptions, but i thinks its only for the cosmetic stuff that will not work across accounts, map packs and such should (i think) work across accounts. The main thing you have to make sure of is that if you buy a US/EU/JP region game you need the DLC from the same region as that game. Everything should work across accounts from my understanding, but i don't have different region accounts so i cant %100 confirm for you.

I've shared my PS4 with my brother since I bought it and just about everything seems to be shared across accounts. (With the exception of a couple things that were tied to individual accounts.) I have less experience with cross region accounts on the PS4, but the few things I have downloaded do seem to work fine on any of my accounts. As long as you make sure the game and the DLC match regions it should be fine. (Although if I were you I'd buy something cheap and test it out.)

@lego_my_eggo: @zeik: Thank you, I will come back here and confirm the situation when I try it (changed my mind on the Destiny DLC since the last post).
