Bombin' the A.M. With Scoops and the Wolf
You can now filter search results with text. Example: "person: john" will search only person pages for "john".
Ground Zeroes makes up for its initial brevity with plentiful side content, a gorgeous look, and the most dynamic, satisfying stealth gameplay Metal Gear has seen in some time.
Second Son is a focused open-world game that offers terrific graphics and enjoyable abilities, but it would definitely benefit from a little more variety.
Vlambeer's new shooter is as hectic as it is addictive.
Hey, let's talk about Affleckman! And Elysium! And The World's End! And some other stuff! It's a premium movie podcast thing!
This podcast is only available to subscribers.
i quite enjoy these premium podcats
Oh hey a title. It's not bad.
@admiraldolphin: it'd be better if they were premium podpups, though.
You chose the right name!!!
@rorie: I'd prefer premium poop butts.
I dig this title!
A little less subtle than Giant Bomb at the Box Office, but makes up for it by being succinct. Good choice.
Giant Bomb.com. It's a website. About everything.
That is the best name you could of chosen
I've been waiting for this! And thinking of a good question to ask you guys that hasn't been covered back on the Screened podcast.
FUCK, that is an AMAZING title.
I'm loving the trend of bomb puns in these sidecasts.
Between Bombin' the AM, Power Bombcast, and now this, it has officially become "A Thing", so now any future podcasts simply must follow the naming scheme.
That's really the way it should go, man!
Now I have to stop putting off seeing The World's End. The nice thing about this podcast is that it's getting me to see everything I want to see again (I listen in the car, hard to skip spoilers while in bumper-to-bumper!)
Liking the new name. I hope this happens more along the lines of every 2 weeks or so in the future, but I'll take what I can get.
Agreed, the name fits super well and hints to what the podcast is about.
kick ass 2?
Amazing to finally hear Rorie pronounce Edgar properly for the first time!
edge-er ... god damn rorie .. YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO SAYS THIS .. stop frontin
Nice name choice, guys.
Edger? What in the what? You crazy Rorie.
Movies are not long enoughin most case's
You have chosen... wisely.
Oh man, that's the best name for this cast.
Not gonna lie I can't stand how people don't love the first 2/3rds of Hot Fuzz it's funnier than the action parody at the end.
Awesome podcast and great name! Glad to catch this as my first Premium podcast.
Rorie I fucking love you for mentioning fremdschamen, I have a severe case of that and it impedes movie watching some times D:
The Arrival was one of the most boring movies I've ever seen.
Love the name.
One of the guys in that pic looks a lot like Rocco Botte from Mega64..
Oh yeah! Gotta get my dose of Rorie and The Wolf movie talk.
Also, that name is perfect.
Man I wanted "Bombin' at the Box Office"! Either way great cast! I enjoy it!
The World's End was freaking great, perhaps best of the trilogy. Can't wait to listen to Matt and Alex's thoughts.
Rorie, there actually was another Dungeons and Dragons movie, it was either a straight-to-DVD movie, or a Made for TV Movie.
It was called Dungeons and Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God. It was actually fairly decent for a non-existent budget and even worse CGI than the first. Unlike the first movie it was a lot like a typical DnD campaign.
I've also just leanred that ANOTHER Dungeons and Dragons movie was made as well. Dungeons and Dragons: The Book of Vile Darkness. Huh...
@envane: LOL he said it again, even after Alex lambasted him for doing it last time.
lol, 18th page, @rorie ?! You and Alex are so popular!
Also that picture came out really crappy.
Now that I've seen the title, I'm kind of angry that you didn't think of it in the first place.
Europa Report: Caught it while I was wavering in and out of sleep. The landing on Europa has a real palpable tension that only slightly gets released. Definite taps into the fear of the Unknown. Could have caught it in a theater, but I realized I could rent it and another limited release for the price of one ticket.
Elysium: The more I think about the film, the more disappointed I am with it. So many issues/questions I had with the film could have been resolved with a line or two. If they have beds that can rebuild/restore a person on an atomic level, how the heck is there still any resource shortage on Earth? As for Jodie Foster, I think the biggest issue is how she's not so much an active part of the story. She sneers well enough, but fades into the background while so much sound and fury happens around her.
Date Night Litmus Test film: Ed Wood
Everybody's said it already, but... awesome title!
It's Kind of A Funny Story isn't a bad first date movie either, I saw it with a girl not too long ago she enjoyed it. Still the relationship ended a month to two later, but at the time the movie worked well.
Oh man Rorie, just oh man :s
Box Office Bomb is the best possible name.
