Oh man, that comparison is so perfectly apt. Shit.
If they had an issue with people lowering their bids. It sounds like lowering the price for the VIP bonuses probably had something to do with that if people just wanted the bonus. Probably should have just left it where it was. Speculation!
Any time I see an earnest project on Kickstarter that fails to raise its goal, I always feel bad. I invariably find myself wishing that I actually wanted what they're selling just so I could contribute.
For those who keep asking for iTunes, if I understand correctly you can't add a podcast to the iTunes store until you have a minimum of a few episodes published.
