The Best Final Fantasy Games
The best of the main Final Fantasy games, not the games that were branches off it (Crisis Core, Dissisdia etc.) even though some of them were good.

Great characters. The battle system was new, but kept some of the best features of the previous systems. The character swapping was especially good. The new graphics also created a new side to the games and allowed you to immerse yourself in the story line and scenery.

A slightly more cartoony and not as serious game, many see FFIX as not as good and a bit of a joke. But this game is as serious as any. The main characters, sub-characters and background characters may seem more weird and not normal (Garnet, Steiner and Amarant [later Cid] are the only actual human characters), but the themes are real and still causes you to become attached.

It reminded me of Pokemon, but way more awesome. It was almost cute. You never connected with the characters personally, but the fact that there were other good characters with personalitiesGreat game, Garland's funny.

Quite a good game, characters all worked and so did the story. Also one of my favourite FF logo designs.

The first game that featured the Chocobo. Enough said really.

A seriously crap game. I couldn't stand it and I'm a pretty big FF fan. Almost everything was wrong with it. I really hope FFXIII is better.
