This game had polish, great gameplay, memorable characters, and an interesting story. Bioware was clearly firing on all pistons for this one.
This game scratched a very particular itch I tend to get. Might be the single best game I've ever played for fear and atmosphere. Love it.
Blizzard continues to do what it does really well. They brought a lot of neat new features to RTS single player campaigns, and despite the fact that I'm terrible at the multiplayer, it's clearly expertly crafted.
Really dig the atmosphere of this one, and the new features Obsidian added. Clearly suffers from open world jank, but more than makes up for it.
By all rights this should be higher on my list. Dragon Age is one of my favorite games in a long time. I think I like it more than Mass Effect. But Awakening was thinner in content, and had weird bugs and such that held it back. Still great, though.
Does some really novel things, and I loved seeing Shin Megami Tensei mechanics applied to a weird, apocalyptic sci-fi setting. Really addictive, and I maintain that one day I will finish it. That final boss is a motherfucker.
Guh. This game literally makes my fingers hurt. But I loves it, precious, yes. It's a fairly simple game, but what it does it does PHENOMENALLY.
Charming as hell, and a great example of Double Fine playing to its strengths. Again, a short, well made game.
Not exactly an engaging storyline, but Nintendo continues to make good 3D platformers.
Just got this one, but damn if it isn't already hurting my brain. And I love the style of it, and it's sense of humor.
