The Best I Gone Did Played In 2018

So to compliment the best of 2019 list, here is another list. I like making lists.

List items

  • It's not hard to beat the other games I played in 2018 when you take into account that this was my first Yakuza game. Whilst the story isn't the strongest in the series the Kiwami remake spices up things up with adding the movesets from Yakuza Zero and throws in Goro Majima EVERYWHERE, which is the best possible idea they could have had.

  • I wish I'd played games like this as a kid, I think I'd be more... level headed. This game is fantastic, a brightly coloured treat to explore with the very first area being so jam packed with things that you forget where you are and oh my has it been 3 hours and I'm still not done collecting poms? Also the music in this game is on point.

  • Man, that Kratos is one angry dude and that God Of War... that's one hell of a game.

  • What the FLIP. They remade Spyro? AND ITS GOOD? Hold you're horses nostalgic nerd, it's not just good. It's.... b e t t e r, than the original. It's vibrant and finally fully realised world is more of a treat to explore than ever before, first game I ever platinumed. I'm a lazy cow.

  • Whilst certainly weaker than The New Order this game is still pretty fun and you get to kick Hitler in the head and fly to the planet Venus in the same game. The shooting is still fun but the scenarios just aren't as good as The New Order.

  • You get to make a giant duck monster.

  • The best shot anyone's had at properly recreating the look and feel of a classic 90's shooter without digging out a copy of Quake 2, but despite being an excellent shooter... it really just quite literally isn't Quake 2.

  • In this town you drink sewage from the tap because I, Mayor Dingus placed the water pump too close to where the poop is dumped in the lake. Also it turns out we can't use a single wind turbine to run the electricity to all of the residents of ButtBurg so you guys will have to drink cold sewage in the dark, I'm off on a golf trip with Elon Musk.
