My personal pick would be Yu Yu Hakusho since they seem to really enjoy the tournament fighting stuff and it still has a good amount of "weird" to keep things interesting. It would also give me a good excuse to re-watch it.
Inspiration-wise concerning design I'm getting a Netflix/Hulu vibe and in it's current state I'm just not a fan of it in the least. Everything being so big makes it hard to focus and take everything in.
The following Vimeo page is an example of a similar layout but more condensed: https://vimeo.com/watch
I'd also perhaps suggest getting rid of all the dropdown menus in favor of a sidebar menu, possibly with a hide function. And even if there's no light version I'd still like to see some separation of color between the main slideshow at the top and the rest of the page below.
Should have made a new thread, I read through half of it before I realized nearly all of the posts were talking about Revival and not his surprise album 'Kamikaze' that just dropped.
As much as I'm enjoying ASG, even started wtahcing along even though I've already seen OG DBZ, but if they stopped after Cell and switched to Yu Yu Hakasho or HunterXHunter I'd be more than cool with that.
I put out a few games back when flash was still big circa the mid 2000s, shmups and TD games. 40% passion, 60% cash grab tbh, sponsors were very liberal with money back then.
Cloudy, rained all day. And to think I almost dropped $20 on those eclipse safe glasses my eye doctor's office was selling (though apparently it was a pretty good deal at that price).
It's possible she had a certain level of seperation by being influenced by unrelated works that themselves took inspiration from Battle Royale. Just a theory.
Going in I didn't care about any of the technical or graphical issues I'd been hearing about because I go to Mass Effect for the characters and if they could just get that one thing right I'd be happy. So I held out hope but unfortunately I'm nearing the game's final act and my level of attachment to the characters is pretty low across the board. There are actually quite a few that I actively dislike. Jeff described Andromeda as seeming like a direct-to-video type of iteration and if they were riding off the coattails of the original crew they could have gotten away with it in my eyes because my reverence for that cast would have enabled my brain to soften the edges and fill in the gaps of the lackluster dialogue and character interactions. However, as something new, so far to me what's there is just not good enough.
Side note: In reference to the ME franchise my gripe with it being a space opera is the need for the future of humanity and/or the galaxy to always be on the line. You can still have high stakes on a smaller and more personal scale. If Sheppard had been an ex-soldier turned captain of an independent freelance ship with a crew a misfits we could still be playing games with the crew from the original trilogy.
