Had many issues with that Destiny pc beta, can't consistently get close to 60 fps. Which is weird considering I can play the Witcher 3 at high settings at 60.
Are the controls good for this? It's the main thing that kept me from enjoying any of the 2D sonic games. They were always way too floaty to do any of the platforming stuff.
Totally agree that this is what the fps genre needs, even if it's on the surface a step back. A return to fun shooting mechanics, speed, and use of skills. Not grinding away to get a slightly more accurate assault rifle. Don't know what the hangup with progression is; i think it's played out and largely amounted to a novelty and a pretty thin excuse to keep playing a game.
Being a goal oriented person, I'd like something to aim for other than just being better at a game. I can get that anywhere.
