If you think this is going to be Fallout 3 with cars, you are mistaken. 0

Wow. Who would have thought a game like this, with cars, guns, new graphics engine, and made by id would be boring.I feel as I am alone in this view however, as I have never been a fan of driving games, although I love GTA. Going from town to town to complete missions feels like World Of Warcraft on a new engine and first person. Minus the XP of course. It's just boring. The combat fails also, with pistols taking many bullets to take down an enemy and even with 2/3 headshots an enemy can still ge...

Not worth the 12 year wait. 0

Am I wrong for buying this game even though I have never played any prior version? I think so, because my experience thus far has been luke warm at best.First let's get the big one out the way, the online requirement, or DRM as people call it. Is it a problem? Yes.You see, other RPG's like this will store a save file on your computer. This has been standard gaming practice since games could save. But here it's stored in the ever talked about amazing cloud. That's fair enough I suppose but unlike ...

The biggest problem with this and all sims games is that you never have enough time to do anything. 0

Lets just get down to it. The game is a resource hog. Taking forever to load (and my PC is far from slow, its new). With the usual expansion packs filling up your hard drive which add only minor improvements but the main issue is time management. You get your house build, decorated. Now you need a job. You find one and it starts at 6 am. But time goes so fast in this game you have no time to enjoy it. Fancy a trip to the shops? You have to factor in travel time etc. You have to get up extra early ...

Think Dragons Lair with better graphics. Unforgiving, to beyond the point of frustration. Not to mention over-hyped. 0

Demon souls is a remarkable game. It does set benchmarks which other RPG's should adhere to. Its brilliant online system and graphics all add to a great game. But there is one flaw which had me quitting over and over. It's too unforgiving. Now I know the video reviews of various sites mention that you will die and die often. But that doesn't make it fun. Its boring.Playing through a large level and getting killed and having to repeat it all over? No thanks. It reminds me of games of old where the...

This game nearly cracks it. But bugs and design frustrations tarnish a potentially awesome game. 0

Lets get the obvious out of the way first. This game will remind you of GTA and that's never a bad thing. From its long story, the driving around a large city and wealth of hidden items around the world, it's easy to compare the two.The problem is, a lot of what the game does right, is overshadowed by it's numerous bugs and design failings.Firstly the good. The graphics, while basic, do get the job done (especially on the PC) and the sound/music adds to an already rich new environment. Not many...

There's no doubt GTA 5 is a beast and excels in nearly every way. But there are some issues along the way.. 0

Let me first start out by saying that GTA 5 is without doubt, the best game I've played in years. But I'm not going to talk about what's right, other people have pretty much nailed it. Instead I'm going to talk about what annoys me about the game, and why it hasn't fully learned from GTA 4.First off, the cops. This time around they mean business and even seeing one star can result in high speed chases and gun battles. In fact the cops are so efficient, it's almost pointless taking them on. Even ...

What it lacks in vision it makes up for with boredom. 0

I've had this game for about 3 days now. Total play time about 2 hours. It's usually at this point where you decide if you want to keep playing a game or not and without doubt, I threw my copy in the bin.Firstly, I wasted an hour trying to sort out account issues. I set up my account on the EU website but the game client on the PS3 couldn't find it. In fact I had to make an account on the American website first and then the game woke up.After a lengthy patch and character creation, I was dropped...

Used to be good, now the memories have been soiled. 0

Bizarre isnt it? That a game which had such high production values, hype and potential, managed to crash so hard. When the game was released, I was there and in fairness I had a great time. I still have so many great memories of the game, the instances, the story, the companions. It's Star Wars for fuck sake, whats not awesome?? Well, some people didn't think so and when subscriber numbers dropped fast, they panicked. Instead of leaving it and letting the core players, the loyal ones who had pa...

Failed to learn from previous mistakes. 0

There is no doubt this game is superb. With a great story, characters, graphics, weapons, cars, things to do etc, it's a marvel. But it does has one major issue, an issue which has driven me mad. The police. The po-leese are a major part of the game. You will encounter them during missions, find resistance when driving off mission and they even appear in multiplayer. The problem is that the police, are just too good. People praised GTA 5 for making the police not know where you are instantly, whi...
