@roycampbell:

No Nintendo served as the real director, writer, and producers All Denis did was bitch about publishers and spammed forums about how awesome Too Human will be

@aishan:

Yeah only the Gorn ended up as good guys and long time allies to the Fed (the Gorn captain was being forced to fight Kirk the same way Kirk was)

Also there is not less then 10,000 Vulcans they have other planets (or does Abram think Humans have hundreads of worlds while a co-founder of the Federation only has one?)

@undeadpool:

I don't know really all I'm saying Spec Ops isn't all that deep or deserving of the mass praise form it kinda insane fanbase or needing a brick in book form.

@heatdrive88:

Well that does sum up Spec Ops rather well.

The game only notable event was "opps you killed a bunch of civies, you monster" that's it.

It doesn't need a 50k word book to tell you this. Here's what it is

Spec Ops tries to tell a message about how modern fps are highly unrealistic compare to real warfare and how its messed up to enjoying killing so many people. However it fails to do this well because it fails to grasp the ideal that most people who play FPS in fact hate real warfare and know the differences. This is because fictional violence is very difference form real life.

The only people who even like this game are people who already hate FPS like this guy who wasted few months of his life writing a 50k word book.

@andrew2696:

it lost major steam at issue 40 were everything just restarts form issue 1 with a smaller cast

then it kinda just repeats over and over. You kinda stop caring about them regardless of how good they're written. so many main cast have died it losses all impact its just "meh whatever".

Its the same problem with a lot of new shows/books with dark themes, the writer makes it too dark without letting it some light and all that happens is you get lost (because you can't see shit) and trip over something.

Aquaman was always awesome, the super-friends one is just the odd man out

@ShaggyDude:

Its 4th Echelon now, and Fisher only join because they let him have total control of it.

Or something like that. Kinda stupid wend you think about it.

It feels like EA is only keeping this series alive so they can have a Gears of War rival while forgetting the reasons why Gears was good.
