Blog by chiselled guy who looks like young George Clooney

Hey there Giantbomb. It's me! Eric_Buck! This is going to be a blog about exciting stuff that I have been up to lately, because I know you're all interested in my expert opinion.

Borderlands and Metal Gears

2 weeks ago I picked up Borderlands! Around the day after I purchased for 30 bones the GOTY edition was announced for just 45 bones with all 4 DLCs included. Needless to say I was rather angry about that. Despite this, Borderlands kicks some serious ass. The only downside so far I don't feel like a story is even apparent. I'm level 26 (lvl 50 max) and I still haven't seen a cutscene. The characters speak only to give information on missions so they lack in depth. The missions just feel like an excuse to make the grinding seem less grindy. I know I'm ragging on it pretty hard but it is awesome. Lootin' shit and shooting bad guys doesn't get much better then this. Pick up the GOTY edition if you haven't yet.

Metal Gear Solid. A franchise we're all familiar with. I picked up the 4th instalment when it first came out and, after a few hours of playing, I realized I had no idea what the hell was going on. I decided I would play from Metal Gear Solid and pick up the story from there sometime in the future and I finally am! I bought Metal Gear Solid over PSN and I'm not confused yet! So far so good!

Move-EES and Tee-Vee

I watch movies sometimes. For some reason Google Chrome is telling me that 'movies' is not a word. I insist! It's right. It's not a word, it's a way of life.

Dinner for Schmucks: Hilarious. Steve Carrell does an excellent job and stays genuinly funny throughout the film and Paul Rudd (who played Paris in Luhrman's Romeo and Julet, :D) was awesome as usual.  I haven't watched any other new movies.     :D

Dexter: I'm up to the 4th season. Dexter is one of the best shows on TV, I think they just started on season 5. Seriously awesome.

Freaks and Geeks: Seeing it for the first time now. Seth Rogan, James Franco, Jason Segal all contribute to the AMAZING cast.

Love me my Dexter. Season 4 is possibly my favourite thus far just for John Lithgow's fantastic role.
