I loved Mirrors Edge. technically though TR: U was horrible. I couldn't finish it.

personally I thought the other way around.

tried Mirror's edge, from the demo while interesting it just didn't grab my attention like i thought it would.

TR:U wasn't that bad, my only complaint is that now they cranked up the foliage and stuff, its kind of a pain to see where your going now.

Happy Halloween...I ran around my neighborhood with my friends, and I 'll recap the night. We went to a bunch of houses that left candy out...we took all the candy from each house. We then went into one house where i guy was in a robe, and there were two hot blondes sitting on the couch in their bras....so um...my friend says..."Sorry to interrupt." The guy laughed and gave him a shitload of candy. We then ran into my bro and his friends, but we ran away, and hid from them, and then we jumped out and they freaked out. We played a bunch of COD4 and Fifa 08.

This morning I played two demos. One was incredible, and the other I hated:
Mirrors Edge...I am now hyped beyond hyped for this game. I am going to have to completely rewrite my gaming list. This looks amazing. The graphics weren't anything special for 2008, but they were up to par with Half Life 2. The action was really cool and unique. The basic premis is that you run around rooftops, and jump all over stuff like ramps, air vents, bars, ledges, and pretty much any other thing, but it actually requires skill on your part. it isn't like Assassins Creed, where you just press one button to move from place to place, but instead you have to time it, and press different combos of buttons. It very ingeniously tells you what to jump on, by coloring the objects red when you get near them. If I ran into a thug with a gun then I would have to disarm him by timing it correctly, when his gun turned red. The story looks interesting, although they didn't really give much to go on. They just tell you you're part of a special orginization that runs along rooftops stealing stuff from the authorities, and you don't get caught. I would highly recoomend this demo, because this game looks amazing, and is now on my must buy list.

The other demo was Tomb Raider underworld:
I couldn't even finish the demo. There were targeting control problems. The camera was horrible. Laura's animations were really inhuman, and it wasn't really a shooter. You didn't have to shoot the guys, you just had to target them. This looks really horrible, and I'm not even going to bother with it lol....
