I have another analogy that might resonate with Danny: I liken my runs in Souls games to time trial laps in racing games. You keep doing the same runs or corners over and over again and to get better and better at the level. Then you either beat the boss or get a great time on the lap, but the repetitive nature of the two games is the magic and feels the same to me.
I'm fine with the abbreviated track overview format, it did get a little laborious at times. Love the podcast, listened to every single one. Thank you!
