2016. A year of many great games I didn't play
This is more of a list of games I did play than the best games.

The campaign of this is probably the most fun I had with games this year. This is not only a great game but also a completely unexpected one.
The best wow has ever been in some ways and that is a problem. I will always treasure vanilla and TBC for being an experience more than a game. Legion makes wow a great game but loses more of the magic that made it feel like a world. Glad I played it this year but it killed any interest for future iterations.
An incredible game that I am never in the mood to play. As a programmer by trade and a game developer by hobby, Shenzhen I/O never has the time to shine. The time I have spend with it is great, but I can't shake the feeling I should be doing real programming instead.
Darks Souls 3 feels like a middle of the road ending to a great series. It is fun to play and looks great but it seems like it is trying to be its older brother too much.
I have not played a lot of this, but what I have is great. It is a great party game like Jack Box or Keep Talking and nobody explodes with one flaw. You have to be a gamer.
A fun waste of time I am glad I didn't finish.
A good game that is not for me.
At least there is fishing
