Obscure Somewhat Old RPG Search Part Two

I officially hate people who work at EB who are uninformed and don't know the first thing about the products they sell! Even though the people who are informed and act like snobbish jerks about it aren't much better. Okay so I called up an EB today and went through my list to see if they had any of the games with only only a bit of trouble (spelling out Shin Megami Tensei out over the phone can get painful when they're just like WTF is that) . The only game she said they had was Shadow Hearts. I proceeded to make sure it was the original Shadow Hearts and NOT Shadow Hearts: Covenant or Shadow Hearts: From The New World and she assured me it was the first one. So i took off on my trek to this out of the way EB half an hour from my house getting a tad too exciting that I finally found the game I had been wanting to play for the last 4 years when I first played SH: Covenant. Turns out, when I showed up it was Shadow Hearts: From The New World and now I'm PISSED about it. Just had to get that out.

Is there a reason why Vagrant Story and Wild ARMs 2 aren't on your list? They're some of my favoirtes, from back in the day. 2 other really off the wall, but good RPG's, are Jade Cocoon and Baten Kaitos (Gamecube).

Be careful of Disgaea 2. Once my save file reached the 500 hour mark, I just had to put down the controller and tell myself, "there are more games out there, u need to stop, right now!"... and Disgaea 3 comes-out next month! I'm both excited and scared :)

I played through the Dreamcast version of Grandia II and loved it. It also got slightly better reviews than the PS2 version, so you may consider getting it on the Dreamcast instead, if you have one. Another good Dreamcast RPG is Skies of Arcadia.

Lastly, you'll want to plan-out to play the Digital Devil Sagas together, as they are a continuation of one another and use some ported-over save data.
