  1. Tomas Sevchenko

  Sure, he may not be the most unique character, but this man deserves credit for all his heroics in the ISA's war against the Helghast! A fairly new member of the ISA, Sgt. Sevchenko serves as second-in-command of the squad led by the good-natured, but horribly impulsive Rico Velasquez. From the first beachhead to the final charge, Sev heroically shot, slashed, and slaughtered literally HUNDREDS of merciless Helghast forces, including their ruthless commander, Colonel Mael Radec. Sev is also extremely resorceful, able to use his enemy's weapons upon first try (including a freaking JETPACK!) and solve dangerous problems quickly and efficiently. Character-wise, Sev acts as a mediator between the impulsive, hot-headed Rico and the strict, by-the-books Narville. He manages to get both men's heads out of their respective butts and work together in their battle, instead of bickering and putting theirs and their men's live in danger. All in all, Sev is, while still sort of generic, an awesome character who deserves more credit than he gets. His haircut's not bad, either!

  Holds his own against a giant, ravaging T-rex? Check.

  Rescues all of his friends (including the lovely Ann Darrow and the douchebag Carl Denham)? Check.

  All this having NO COMBAT EXPERIENCE WHATSOVEVER!? Check.
