I love fresh twists on shooting. Borderlands added the RPG element with randomized loot, and Bulletstorm looks to be just as fresh in a more dynamic direction. I'm really excited to start breaking down scenes for their combo potential as soon as I enter a room. It will add a whole new element to focus on and push tactics back a little bit, keeping action at the forefront.
I loved Rez, and this looks like the next logical step for that style of gameplay with today's technology.
I never played the first one, and I probably still will, so I'm excited to have a better, faster, stronger sequel lined up for when I'm done.
I want not to want this game. I really shouldn't need any more time spent in the wasteland in that engine. But damn it; it looks good.
It's probably not enough to get me to buy Kinect, but I'm not going to lie: this looks like it'd be a fun, good use of the technology. I'm sure my wife would love it.
