So, after getting slaughtered because of my negative opinions in my last blog, I'm going to go for something slightly more light hearted :).
- Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead itself is an amazing game, but I only love playing it so much because of my friends. Whether you decide to play everyman for himself on versus or working seriously as a team, you can have a hell of a good time. The campaign keeps itself fresh with a different experience every time and the multiplayer brings a great sense of competitiveness to the whole online portion of the game. Playing as the infected is the funnest part of the versus mode, well aslong as your not playing as a smoker but can still sometimes feel frustrating. The three problems that come to mind are the large amount of people that try to cheat ,the use of the melee button against Hunters and the lack of multiplayer maps to play on. However with DLC on the horizon and patches being released that shouldn't be a problem.
The good in L4D heavily outweights the bad, so if you have the money and some friends. L4D is a must have.
- Fable 2
I was a huge fan of the first Fable and the second has exceeded my expectations immensely. The plot though a little strange in places, was a large factor for me loving this game. The different characters and choices, give Fable 2 great replay value and makes your experience and character unique to everyone else's. Fable's humour and immersive world can have you playing for hours on end; your silent, customizable protagonist/ antagonist is one of the games best features and really brings your into Albion.
I'm afraid this blog is gonna have to stay unfinished until tommorow/ Tuesday, so I'll add a few more games and details then.
But for now, what are your favourite 360 games? and has anyone beat my friend Sean's 7,400 damage total as infected on L4D?

| Far Cry 2 | Far Cry 2 isn’t exactly a bad game; I just really don’t like it. I’m a ‘run and gun’ kind of guy and that usually works a lot better when you can hit something without aiming for half an hour. This is a shame because the game generally does have a lot of shooting to do. However this is only because everyone in the area thinks you pushed their grandma down the stairs and are really pissed off for some unknown reason. |
| Timeshift | It may be a little unfair for me to rant about Timeshift because I’ve played so little of it. I enjoyed the action parts of the game and using time powers but when it came to silly stuff llike slowing down time to stop fan blades to advance (I stopped time instead of reversing it???) or similar style things, I felt cheated because I had to start the level again. And if thats not enough, It helps fill up this table... :P. |
| The Bourne Conspiracy | I’m not new to the Bourne series; I’ve seen all the films and know the basic story and stuff. But in the 5 second poorly explained cut scenes in the game I got seriously confused, some key scenes from the film are there but it just doesn’t make sense. A lot of people say the fighting is fantastic and at first I agreed, but sadly it became repetitive in a three hour game. |
| Burnout | I just did not like this game one bit, it took ages (for me) to get my first license and I just wanted to race nice and fast cars online finding out there were like 6 more to go just made me think "CBA!!!!!!!!!". |
| DOA 4 | Ninjas and massive tits may sound awesome but DOA feels like your playing against someone that uses the same cheap move again and again. I finally completed it and then tried to take my ‘L337’ skills online; yeah I got schooled by some eight year old or something. |

In other news...
- Phildelphia made the playoffs, woooo!!! I'm really thinkin Superbowl this year, especially if we beat the Giants later today :).
- I've just picked up CoD: World at War, I think its fantastic. Completed the campaign yesterday and really enjoyed it, especially the Soviet Union bits which surprised me but thats mainly down to the fountain scene they stole from Enemy at the Gates.
- Also bought Fallout, Fable 2 and MK vs Dc which are great ,really enjoying MK online.
Expect another blog soon with an updated list of my favourite 360 titles aswell as a general update. Also sorry for the lack of pictures, they weren't playing nice with the table!
Would be really great to hear what you guys think, even though it'll be pro Burnout :P.
