MoG: The Mystification of Pricings

So, I finally broke down and decided to buy "Batman: Arkham Asylum", which brings us to the point of this post. As with any older game, one feels the urge to try and find the best deal they can. Last time, the store I usually frequent was all out besides a single new copy of the special edition ($80.00), so that was out. Next up, the corporate juggernaut that doesn't actually sell walls. They had a few regular copies, but for the low price of.... 60 dollars. I'll pass on that.
I have located a copy for $60, but as a brand new Collectors Edition, as well as a 5 dollar credit to MP3 downloads and free shipping. I found my winner. But still... What is with pricing these days at retail stores. You can buy "The Saboteur", which only a few months newer, at a third of the price. And last I heard people seemed to like "The Saboteur", but maybe that changed? It's just another Mystery of Gaming.
