    This week:
Modern Warfare 2
Left 4 Dead 2
aaaand Wiiii.
TV MOVIES GO.
Also, Runic Games' answers!

Modern Warfare 2

By now you've all more than likely heard the faults and pros of Modern Warfare 2 a million times, singleplayer bad, multiplayer good. I do heavily agree with that which is sad seeing as how much I loved the first Modern Warfare's story. This one just seems to be all over the place, trying to top every "holy shit" moment with another and after a while that get's incredibly tiring. The story got to a point where I said "What the fuck is happening?...Oh right, I don't care." The "No Russian" mission is...bad. It goes past being disturbing to the point of being just dumb. It was so incredibly unnecessary and made no since. It seemed to just be Infinity Ward trying to be 'edgy.' Some of  the level design in the game is the worst I've ever seen in a CoD game (excluding the third Call of Duty). They seem to be standing all around you and blending in with your soldiers and you'll be constantly thinking if you should him or not which means a lot of friendly fire kills or a lot of deaths.

One mode that a lot of people aren't giving the love it deserves is the Spec Ops mode. Spec Ops runs you through a lot of different situations such as "Kill this many people" or "Sneak past all these people." It all boils down to not dying and killing some people/getting to a certain place but they throw in so many different obstacles like a lot of snow, dogs, or having to kill them with a certain weapon. This mode is really a blast to play with friends, by yourself it does seem a bit more challenging. The mode definitely feels as if it should be played co-op only. It is very obvious the Infinity Ward spent most of their time of the multiplayer aspect of Modern Warfare and that shows and I honestly think that was a very smart thing to do as this is the best and most fun I've had with a multiplayer game in a long, long while. I could bet good money that 95 percent of the people reading this already own Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and if you're one of that small percent that doesn't have it, go buy it. It's something you will not regret.

Left 4 Dead 2 demo

I went into Left 4 Dead 2's demo with the full expectations that this was going to be Left 4 Dead 1 in the day time and something Valve
should've released as DLC. While I've changed my mind a bit, I still will not pay 60 dollars for this because A) I don't have the money and B) I'm just sick and tired of Left 4 Dead. L4D2 feels like a sequel, adding some awesome new zombie classes, melee weapons, light outside, among other things but popping this out so quickly was a terrible choice seeing as I just played a game with the exact gameplay mechanics last year, I don't want a new one now. Be normal and work 2 years on the sequel.

From the demo, another thing I noticed is that Valve seems to be working on actually putting kind of a story into this which is interesting, not because I really care about a story, but because I want to know if it will be a utter disaster. Left 4 Dead 2 just looks a lot better than the original. Apart from being brighter, it has a very crisp feel and saying this game is 'beautiful' is something you can honestly say about L4D2 that you couldn't say about the first. The addition of more items like the Boomer vomit grenades are a very great thing and just plain fun to use. One item I do not enjoy is the adrenaline needle. Where, once injecting yourself, you can pretty much just run through all the horde like you just shot up a bunch of Meth. It seems incredibly useless and something that has no reason being in the game. Demos are supposed to get someone hyped for a game and although, like I previously mentioned, I'm not buying Left 4 Dead 2, I cannot wait to get it in the mail from Gamefly.

I Have a Wii

 That's me.
 That's me.
For my birthday my brother got me a Wii. That's pretty rad seeing as now I can get a new video card for my PC for Christmas now. First thing I done with my new found Wii is download some WiiWare and Virtual Console titles. The titles being Tecmo Bowl, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Family Table Tennis. None of which really held my attention for too long. Then popped in Wii Sports which is kind of bad. I'm shocked how stoked people was for that when it was released. The Tennis, Bowling, and Boxing seem decent but not good enough to make me play it for too long. And of course, Wii Play. I played that for about 10 minutes and turned it off, never playing that again. The one game I played that was good though, Boom Blox.

I got the first Boom Blox and that game is surprisingly fantastic. The amount of excitement I feel when an entire tower starts falling over is unexplainable. The game features a story that, lets be honest, I'm not paying attention to at all. Boom Blox features a creation tool which I haven't really dove too deep into yet but from what I can tell, it's pretty good. YOu earn parts for the creation mode by doing the events in the Adventure Mode, that never really was the keep me going factor in the game though. That is where it falls, Boom Blox just kind of starts to bore me after a little while. It is fun and everything...for 30 minutes to an hour but after that, I feel like I've done all I can do with the game. I would definitely say rent the game if you're interested at all.

Runic Games' answers your questions!

What will Torchlight the MMO will be about?

The overall storyline is in preproduction – we will start focusing more on MMO preproduction as soon as we finish focusing on all the launch events – bug fixes, the patch, getting the demo on our site and getting TorchED out! Since a lot of the Devs haven’t slept more than six hours in the last month, we’ll take a breather and then come back strong, focusing solely on the MMO.

Will there be more than 3 class types in the MMO version of Torchlight?

Definitely though we can’t say what they will be quite yet. However we can tell you that the 3 character-classes in the Single Player are not necessarily going to be playable classes in the MMO.

Ask Runic Games what differentiates them from most developers.

We are a pretty small indie studio (27 folks) with strong roots in the ARPG world. Also we were an a-typical startup, of 17 people at inception, basically everyone who worked on Mythos from Flagship North. Being small means we can address individual concerns pretty quickly and effectively, but it also means we have to be very careful with our scope and our resources – we can only do so much. It’s a good way to make sure we’re always working on Things That Matter Most.

(These are some whopper questions)

Question: Are they going to add a way to better manage your pets? I made the Alchemist and went down the Lore skill tree so i always have like 6 imps, my cat, Golems and all my zombies/skeletons out at all times and i can never tell when they die because there is almost always too many things on screen to tell. I would like to see a little window tab that lists the pets and their HP like the Mastermind class does in City of Heroes, or at least some kind of coloured outline/glow under your pets so you can tell them apart from the 10-20 other mobs running around on the screen. I was just curious to know if they plan to address this problem for my build/class.

We don’t plan to add any new content at this time, but it’s totally possible someone will mod that in. The ability to summon a lot of minions is certainly a really cool feature and it does get a little crazy, but the only pet manager we really have is for your initial pet, the wolf/lynx choice at the very beginning, which remains onscreen the whole time.

Part 2: Another pet question if i can, are they planning to fix the pets path finding capabilities or are they just going to balance the pets always getting stuck/lost into the set?

Again, we aren't planning on significant Torchlight single-player development right now, but more pet control features are on the agenda for the MMO.

6. Question:  Will the MMO be using the same setting of Torchlight for all of the games questing, or will it have various cities/towns with their own unique dungeon systems below them?

In the MMO, Torchlight will probably be one of many different towns within an overworld. There will be many dungeons, both random and instanced, and outdoor dungeons, as well.

Question:  Will there ever be a sequel or expansion pack for the single player Torchlight game in the future, or is all of the companies development time being put into the MMO? If there is an expansion or sequel being made what kind of upgrades might we expect.

Never say never but for now we plan to focus on the MMO. We may release some things that we are also putting into the MMO if we can as extra content, and we’ll also get into alpha and beta in the MMO as soon as possible.

Question:  What made you guys decide on the games art style over a more dark or mature style that these type of games are usually set in?

It was a matter of personal style and preference for non-grungy palettes, combined with a desire to not compete with D3. That’s the answer in a nutshell; Art Director Jason Beck wrote pages and pages on how this came about for Gamasutra, and you can read it here:

Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time

Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time is extremely similar to the Ratchet formula in a sense that the main focus is ridiculous weapons. Insomniac is such a good developer for this game that you expect the weapons to be good and most are but the weapons are just one of the many impressive things in A Crack in Time. The game picks up where Quest for Booty left off and it gives a very good recap of the QfB game to the point where it felt like I already knew everything that happened in that game. A Crack in Time delivers yet another great, funny, yet intriguing story that I loved and it features some of the most beautiful cut-scenes I've seen to date. I would kill for an animated movie done by the people that illustrated these cut-scenes.

Like I've already mentioned, the weapons are mostly great. Some of the weapons are kind of pointless such as the sniper rifle type gun, no way in hell that you can pull off some well targeted kills with that during a big battle. Although when I think about it, using it during a boss battle might not be too bad. Also, one gun uses the sixaxis control which using the sixaxis in the first place is stupid but having to control it while people are moving around is just dumb. It may sound like I'm not the biggest fan of the combat, I fount that to be one of the strong-points throughout the game. Running around tossing bombs and using the crazy weapons is just damn fun! Since A Crack in Time does a great job of telling you every thing that has happened in the story up to that point, I have no problem recommending you just buy this one first and that's what this is, a solid buy.

Netflix on PS3

PS3 has finally launched their version of Netflix to rival 360's Netflix and it does just what it should do, play some movies and the movies
look decent. As good as it as at doing 'what it's supposed to do', it does some other stuff poorly. Like the interface, it just looks very plain and at first it was confusing on how to navigate. This is frustrating seeing as how cool and crisp the 360's version is. The rest of Netflix on the PS3 is, I hate having to say this again but, what it should be. Offering all your Instant Streaming movies in your Q and showing you the new releases, etc. It even offered me the category of 'Raunchy Movies' which is always a plus. While it looks ugly, if I didn't already have a Xbox Live Gold membership, I'd still rather use this free service than pay the dumb fee you have to pay on Xbox to see all your latest Raunchy Movies. Netflix on PS3 is good, nothing great, just good.

Dragon Age: The Origins of the Age of Dragons. (360 version)

I have to start this off by saying I have never enjoyed a BioWare game ever. I have played KOTOR and Mass Effect and both were very
much 'I know how you could love this but I'm not into it' games. Going into Dragon Age; I had low expectations, which may have helped me quite a bit in the long run. Dragon Age Origins features one of the best stories I've heard within a game in a while. It is constantly pulling me farther into the game whenever something annoying happens. That's not to say that the combat isn't doing the same. Bioware has done the best job anyone can do, UI wise, in porting this game to the 360. It's simple as pressing X, Y, B, or holding RT and pressing the face buttons for a spell. That is only six spells which can sound bad but then you pull up your radial menu and you can view every single spell you have all while combat is paused. It all borders the line on the battles being a huge cluster-fuck and what I mean by that is it's all crazy and hectic but still manageable. That's a rare thing that people do and I'm very thankful Bioware pulled it off.

Dragon Age: Origins may have a huge heapload of positive things about it, but you can't help but notice that the look of the 360 version is just bad. Everyone has a weird jumpy animation they do when they first load up. Especially when you go into a conversation, peoples heads seem to shake around like they were D-Lo Brown. (Wrestling jokes!) Dragon Age: Origins definitely blew me away and although I've not finished it, I'm pretty sure I've been sucked in. In the end, if you have a good PC that can run this, get the PC version for the graphics but don't be too hesitate to pick the 360 version up as it's only problems seem to be some lackluster visuals.

 This week:
Uncharted 2
Torchlight
Ask those dudes some questions!
TV
and Saw

Uncharted 2

Uncharted 2 had an ass face of hype, not shockingly of course. Most of the hype has probably diminished my thoughts on the game as I went into it expecting way too much. It's not that I didn't like the game and that I'm saying it's a poor game, it's that there was way too many frustrating points in the game and some annoying elements that I could see people getting over, but I just couldn't. One being the platforming. It was very beautiful, yes, but it kind of feels like the game cheats itself as it gives you certain spots where you can jump extremely far and some spots where you can't. This ends with you having absolutely no idea of how far you can jump and can't jump which means you're gonna be seeing that death screen a lot, not really realizing that you can't make that jump although you made a jump much wider earlier. The other main complaint is the combat. Not the combat in general but some of the things that happen during the combat. It's pretty well known Uncharted 1's enemies were damn bullet sponges and according to many people, Uncharted 2 had changed that. While the normal enemies do go down A LOT faster, there is plenty of enemies that are still just as dumb as the one in the previous game. They explain it by saying they have "heavy armor", I find that too be complete bullshit. So if they said that every enemy in Uncharted 1 had padding on them, it would immediately be better? No. Not at all. It would be the same complaints and I feel many people are overlooking the sheer shittiness of these enemies. Also, developers need to learn, guys that are very heavy armored and kill you in one shot ARE NOT FUCKING GOOD.

While all that is disappointing, Uncharted 2 definitely has it's high points. The sheer cinematic experience and the set pieces are just plain beautiful. I love them. Also the story, it was the thing that kept me chugging along until I finally quit at around chapter 22. As it seems to be only me and a few other people that are disappointed by Uncharted, I have no problem telling you to rent it and if you like it, buy it.

SAW

Saw has so many very interesting points and a great concept that it's terribly sad how bad it all went. In Saw you play as an agent that
dedicated his life to hunting Jigsaw so Jigsaw was all "Oh no you didn't" and captured him. When you start out you're given with some weaknesses. One being that you can't really see well so you're constantly using a lighter, which is very Resident Evil-ish, and that part is great. It adds some tension and it doesn't hurt that the game looks pretty good. The other is you don't have shoes so walking on the ever so present glass hurts you. Now whoever in the world came up with that should be fired immediately. A) THAT IS SO STUPID B) Why the hell can't he just pick everyone he kills shoes? Which brings me to the combat, it's abysmal. One of the slowest, least exciting things I've ever done. You do have a variety of weapons and some are cool (I like to scalpel a bitch) but most control the exact same way and there is no real "finishing moves" that help out the sluggishness of the combat.

Saw's boss fights are very interesting, instead of using combat (Thank God) you do puzzles. Most of the puzzle are actually pretty hard and, shockingly, fun! This is the part where Saw shines is with it's really good puzzles. Almost all of them are very well designed and just an exciting thing to do. Despite the fact that Saw has some great puzzles, the entire rest of the game leaves you wanting so much more that you just don't get. I really wanted this game to be good but life's not fair sometimes. Pass on it. Maybe if you're a fan of the series you should rent it but nothing more.

Torchlight

Torchlight is developed by some of the people that worked on Diablo, I personally never played a Diablo game so I can't straight up compare it but if Diablo was fucking awesome, then this is pretty similar. Torchlight is 20 bucks which is a steal as I wouldn't have regretted paying 60 for it. The look of it is very World of Warcrafty and I love that. The best thing about it is that it will run on damn near any PC and look decent. It's running on mine and I can barely run Plants vs. Zombies. I should probably state what Torchlight is about, you're thrown into a world after choosing 1 of 3 classes, ranging from a Soldier type guy to an Alchemist who has a great Steam-punk look that forced me to pick him. From their you just accept quests and run through one huge ass dungeon, it is one big dungeon but after a certain amount of levels you'll complete a main quest and reach a waypoint which allows you to pretty much fast travel to that level from your hometown. One thing you have to get right in these types of games is the loot and it's all good. I'm always digging through my inventory trying to find some matching armor. Torchlight has officially turned me into a loot whore. One big complaint everyone has is no co-op which, yea, is a bummer but in around a year we may be getting a full fledged, free-to-play, MMO of this and if that happens, God rest my soul as I will be playing that way too much. Torchlight is a fantastic game that you need to buy, especially at only 20 bucks.

RUNIC GAMES QUESTIONS!

So, I worked out a little thing with Runic Games (developers of Torchlight) and they have allowed me to tell you all to ask some of the

Smackdown vs. Raw 2010
Borderlands
Trine
Operation Flashpoint
and I still like TV

Smackdown vs. Raw 2010

The Smackdown vs. Raw series has, according to many people, been on a  downward fall of bad games, while I disagree with that but do strongly  acknowledge that the games have not been as good as I wanted.  Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 is here to change that, and it does. Smackdown  vs. Raw 2010 is fantastic, and one of the best games in the series to  date. Of course the huge addition to this years game is the story  designer and it's near flawless. The only real complaint is that you  can't pick how many characters you want in a scene as they all have a  locked in amount. That is only a small screw up that will be annoying  sometimes but most of the time, you won't even notice. The rest of the  mode is damn good and something that any wrestling fan, or people that  just likes to reek havoc, will enjoy.

SvR 2010 added a couple more matches, the Championship scramble match  and a new and improved Royal Rumble. I'll start with the worst of the  two, the Championship Scramble. In real life, I actually enjoy the  scramble, it's a lot crazy things going on at once but putting that  into a game is a bad bad choice. The Scramble match is a match that  starts out with two people in the ring, then 3 more people come in  over a certain amount of time. The catch is that every pinfall someone  makes isn't the end of the match but the person that pinned is the new  champion and if they still have the latest pin when the timer runs  out, they win. Onto the game's version. It's near impossible to win  when you're not the first two in or the champion because everyone will  constantly barrage you with attacks the first second you pin someone.  Also, what's up with no entrance music when a new person enters? It's  very...not exciting what-so-ever. The Royal Rumble on the other hand  is good, despite having it's own little quirks. The match feels like a  brand new game in sorts because there is so many new animations and  some move changing so that at the end of the move you push a person to  the ropes to try and eliminate them. You eliminate people by doing 1  of 4 button presses. This is when one of the quirks happen. The mode  is very very easy. I got through playing as Edge, starting at number  1, not feeling like I was about to lose until the very very end. The  other mess up is pounding on buttons to eliminate someone is fun...for  a while but doing that around 15 times in one match is annoying and  starts to feel like a burden.

Overall the new Smackdown vs. Raw is a great game that makes some bad  choices and some good choices. When those good choices work out, it  makes for a very impressive gaming experience. If you're a fan of  Smackdown or WWE at all, pick this up. If you're not, give it a rent  and try it.

Iddy bit of Operation Flashpoint!

I said I was give small thoughts on Operation Flashpoint: Dragon  Rising and that's exactly what I will do. If you really want something  like that, crazy realistic shooter that makes you feel bad about  yourself, get this game. But for me, I don't enjoy being constantly  punched in the balls so I couldn't get through the first hour. In all  seriousness, like I said, if you like this kind of game, buy it, it  seems fantastic for you. If you're scared to pick it up, rent it and  tell people your story of dying...a lot.

Trine

So yea, Trine was finally released on PSN this week and since my  computer is garbage, I have been that guy
that has been waiting and  waiting on this game.  Admittedly though, while Trine is still good, I  was a bit underwhelmed. Mainly because the look of Trine is not as  'superb' as I was expecting. Everything seems to have some ugly rough  edges that I never saw when a good PC was running it. That being said,  if you can get past that, Trine looks good enough. The three  character's of Trine are all interesting and most do control well, but  there is something that I can't really pinpoint about the Mage that is  frustrating. It may be the fact that making squares is much harder  than it should be but I'm not for sure. Trine still does have those  mind binding puzzles and is overall a fun game to sit and play for  short bursts, but only for short bursts as it got me frustrated over a  long period of time. If you have a good PC, get that version, if not,  try this out because of the fun puzzles.

Borderlands

Borderlands claims to have a bazillion weapons and while that's not  true, it comes through by still giving us a shit-ton of them. That  sadly is one of my complaints though, most of the weapons are just  trash that I wouldn't think twice about using. The only good thing  about them would be maybe giving them to one of your low level  friends. You'll more than likely do like me, find a really good set of  weapons and keep that set for around 8 levels. That's not too much of  a problem though because the combat is so damn fun. Going into a  combat situation with people of equal or a little higher level is  crazy. The enemy can hit you and you go flying 50 feet away or they  can just go crazy and rush the hell out of you and make you piss  yourself.

I've heard many complaints from people saying that Borderlands should  only be played in co-op and I couldn't disagree more. I have played  with two characters, one in co-op (Got to level 13 with a Siren), and  one by myself (Currently level 18 with a Hunter), and of course co-op  is funner, single player is still fantastic. One reason being that  feeling you get when you see great loot and immediately think "This is  all mine!" instead of having to share. A thing that shocked me about  Borderlands is the look of the game. Sure there is pop-in textures  when you load up the game, but when it's all loaded, the game looks  beautiful. Everything has a great animated style to it that is so  incredibly pleasing to the eyes.

I have to address my biggest complaint with the game, the driving. It  just feels terrible. I don't fully understand why they couldn't just  map the driving to the triggers and be a normal driving game instead  of using the sticks and making me frustratingly navigate around small  rocks that my car should just run over. But the one redeeming factor  is running things over with your car, that's something you have to see  to believe. Borderlands is something I've been waiting for, for a  while and I've finally got it and I couldn't be more happy. While it  has it's problems, it's all problems that I can easily look over and  enjoy this time-sucking, beautiful, and pure exciting game. Buy for  all.

 This week!
Halo ODST
South Park
DJ Hero
A little NBA Live
Brutal Legend
and a lot of TV!

Halo 3: ODST

I've never been a big fan of the Halo series (besides the first two) so take that to heart when reading my thoughts on ODST. The story is weak, the enemies are just plain bullet sponges, and the lighting is just annoying. They make it to where you pretty much have to use your light vision all the time, because if you take it off, your eyes are so adjusted to the light that it looks very dark when, in actuality, it's a normal color. Scattered through the game is some audio logs but needless to say, I didn't get that far as the rest of the story looked to be the same old bullshit that turned me off the last Halo games. The one special thing that I do enjoy is Firefight. When you're playing with friends, battling through hordes of enemies, using Halo's good combat, it's just plain fun. Also, griefing. Halo 3: ODST delivers on what it should be, sheer fan service for people that love Halo. But if you're on the fence about it like I was, at least to give it a rent to try out Firefight.

South Park: Let's Go Tower Defense Play!

Speaking of fan service, South Park Lets Go Titty Tat was released a couple of weeks ago. I've been a fan of South Park for awhile and still enjoy it quite a bit but I know how terrible South Park games can be, so going into this I was obviously skeptical and luckily I was surprised. The look is very much South Park, you get all that blood splattin' goodness, comedy, and all that nice stuff. The main thing that is actually wrong with the game is the gameplay, it achieves the Tower Defense feel by being intense but the lack of a grid and the fact that if too many people break through your barriers, you're screwed, adds a lot of frustration. Which was actually was a real shocker for me, dude, this game is hard! I can't even get pass the first four levels! Them damn old people. Final thought on South Park: LGTDP would be a buy for South Park fans and maybe a trial game for others.

I also got NBA Live 10 but I won't talk about that (ask questions in the comments if you really want to hear more in depth thoughts on it) just know it's actually really good.

DJ Hero

So yea, I took advantage of the 1 day offer of DJ Hero at Gamestop and played it last Sunday. When I first went into DJ Hero, I put on some Purell and started the tutorial.
The tutorial was really good but it seems like it didn't tell me enough, then again I did stop at the point where you have to get 10000 points, the reason I stopped was because it was the "FINAL EXAM" so if it explained more after that, not really my fault. The set list was weird but in a good way and mixing the tracks with the crossfader is very slick and fun. Scratching feels just right while still providing a nice amount of challenge. My main fault was when you miss a note, your song kind of falls off track and when that happens, although it was probably supposed to happen like this, it completely messed me up and made the songs sound terrible. This is fine and dandy but when I'm new to the game, it's not encouraging to have my music be trashed on. All in all though, I really enjoyed the demo. The tutorial was OK, the controller feels great, and the tracklist looks nice. Stoked to get the game for Christmas.

...and now the whopping main event. Brutal Legend.

Brutal Legend has summoned tons of hype, being a Tim Schafer game, having Jack Black in it, and it also being very ambitious with it's "metal" premise. It achieves those goals and more. This game is so packed full of fun and great content that paying 60 bucks for it felt like a steal. The first thing you notice is the comedy and, specifically because it's a Tim Schafer game, this game is damn funny. Actually it isn't just the writing that makes for great comedy, it's the animations. Brutal Legend features many 'blink-and-you-miss-it' moments. Be it a character making a funny face or someone standing in astonishment. It's all comedic gold.

Brutal Legends "battle feature" is both exciting while being very challenging. It combines the brutal (no pun intended) combat with some fantastic RTS feature. Eddie dawns wings to give him a nice over-head view of the big battlefield. The object is simple, just take over merch booths, summon your own with the power of rock, and fight! There is other aspects like using fans to get more soldiers, heal people, etc. That all sounds kind of simple but having to recruit your people to your position, set their attack areas, choose your soldiers, and finally activate it, adds difficulty while not being overtly annoying.

Seeing as my "what'cha been doing" rules is one paragraph per game, I should wrap this game up now.The story is fantastic, and takes some unexpected turns. The only real complaints I have is frequent dying during battles sometimes is a bad nuisance, and some (very few) jokes do fall flat. Some people may think that if they're not a metal fan, they won't enjoy this, well I'm not a fan of metal and, as you can see, I love this game. Buy, buy, buy

Arkham has never been so great (PS3)
He's totally Batman Batman Arkham Asylum has garnered quite a bit of hype since it was first revealed. For many reasons, it looked interesting, it didn't seem like just another 'comic book game', and of course, it's frigging' Batman.Going into the game, having played the demo, I knew to ...

The Bigs is back and is better than it's predcessor in many ways (PS3)
When Bigs 1 was released, it really went under the radar, I played it and quite loved it. It really opened my eyes to the fact that not all sports games have to be "hardcore" sims. Well, Bigs is back with a sequel that brings back the arcade feel, yes, ...

Excitement- Battlefield 1943, ik-sahyt-muhnt, noun. (XBLM)
Let's get this out of the way, first. When Battlefield 1943 was released, it had quite a bit of issues. A games launch can honestly probably not get much worse than Battlefields, seeing as it was totally unplayable. Also, sitting at the start screen, tapping A over and over again ...

Street Fighter IV, baby. It’s here and it’s better than ever. A couple of months ago I could’ve told you straight up that the chances of me getting Street Fighter IV was slim-to-none but after a while of Street Fighter talk and me watching gameplay, I bought into the hype ...

Welcome to the Tropical Wasteland of Ghouls and Super Mutants! (X360)
Fallout 3 is one of those games that, at first, it seems pretty bad. You’re thrown out of a vagina and you begin life in the vault. Now, you don’t really get the “full-experience” of life in the vault because you go from around age 1 or 2 to age ...

Afro!Afro Samurai is a game that makes failure pop into my head instantly. I mean, if it wasn't an Anime, just the nam would bring back bad memories of Pirates vs. Ninja's Dodgeball. Luckily this game isn't complete fail, matter of fact it's not fail at all, super matter of ...
