2010 has turned out to be quite the busy year, between my ongoing struggle to finish college and my plans to leave this country being put back.. combined with my multiplayer regulars i find it had to fit in new games to play, this has lead to an interesting list.. Some of the games on this list are years old but ive only gotten around to playing them this year.. So this is quite literally MY 2010 games :)
This game has brought me many many hours of quality gameplay, the multiplayer just changed everything.. it replaced my regular counterstrike gaming completely and have played it so much so that i have yet to tackle the single player campaign.. But one fantastic figure that needs to be mentioned.. value for money is a .25!! (so far) where VFM = Cost / (Hours Played). I had already gotten my moneys worth with the beta before the game came out :)
Not what you would class a new game but again i only got to playing this properly this year, was slightly pushed by the release of Mass Effect 2 (which i still havent tackled). Thoroughly enjoyed the game, aside from the damn mako, those parts got to me a little but all in all it was a great game and cant wait to (hopefully) play the sequel in the near future..
After playing and loving the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series of games how could i not play Metro 2033. All in all a very good game, living up to the reputation laid down by the studio which a number of A4's developers worked for during the creation of the aforementioned series of titles. It is a great atmospheric shooter that draws you in from the start and keeps you immersed right till the end.. only issue i found was the checkpoints often left you in an impossible situation and led to reverting to a previous point.. Outside of that well worth your time and money..
