    I can't make advanced armour even though i got the perk.

    I just got the advanced armour perk but when I got to a forge, there is no menu item for plate or scale armour, what am I missing? Do i need to have seen a piece of that type of equipment to forge it?

    Steel plate and scale are under the Steel section.

    Yup, under the "Steel" heading. You need steel, chorodium, and iron ingots, plus leather straps IIRC.

    Scale armor is pretty gangster, I made a set of 'superior' scale to replace my 'fine' hide set, and I doubled my defence, since the I've upgraded it further to 'epic' and taken some perks in light armor - I fare much better in prolonged combat now, but I'm still light and fast as I prefer.
