Me: "It's literally the name of the game! It was said in the intro video that just played! It was in the achievement you were just joking about!!! It's set in Baldur's Gate!"
Also, the update to BG:DA just looks exactly like it does running on a PS2 emulator with 4x texture resolution. A lot of new voice acting though.
Guess for the future of the site: Giant Bomb will change direction and become a "garage finds" site, not a gaming site. It'll just be Jeff and others going through their garages.
But actually, I have faith that Jeff and the others staying on (the ones we know like Jan and Jason as well as those behind the scenes) will do right by the community in whatever is to come.
Talking about how CD Projekt Red wouldn't have ways to refund, but CD Projekt is the company that started and owns GOG.com (though it is run as a subsidiary). It's not like they have no experience in refunds and sales.
It's weird to me that everyone is so surprised about Danny having played a game on an IMAX screen. In my city, the local IMAX can be rented out to be used for movies or games as you like (they may even have some consoles there to use). Back in high school, the gaming club rented it out for a Smash Bros. Melee tournament.
To Vinny on EG2: I'm surprised you didn't mention any bugs. In my 50+ hours of play, I've run into so many and have seen plenty of people on the Rebellion discord mention game-breaking ones as well. Along with the overall lack of information presentation and generally poor AI, I also have similar complaints on balance. It has so many flaws, but it still fills a void in which there are not many games that can do the same.
