This game boils down to the fact that I just don't enjoy the combat. Not sure about the PC version but PS4 and XB1 versions slow down in populated areas. Games shouldn't be doing that now.
I played it on the XB1. I hate when there are no reviews for some games. I was going to write one but this review is pretty good. I liked the exploration and story bits. The voice recordings were decent but I liked the areas where they were found. Those sometimes told a better story through my imagination than the recordings did. Which lends itself to your walking simulator comparison. 3 is good. It wasn't great and it was frustrating in some area but I was glad I played it.
The guys didn't sound all that exited about the game. I am in the minority because I love golf. Links, Tiger Woods, Hot Shots, Mario Golf, Tee Off etc. Love playing real golf too. I suck at it but it's weird, no matter how much pain and anguish you face from playing a really bad round, you forget about it. And there in lies the hook. It's kind of like having a baby. When you watch what a woman goes through while birthing one, it makes me wonder why the hell would you want to go through that again. Yet they do. Sorry back to the game. Doesn't look like there is much to it. $9.99 should be the price but $19.99 - $24.99 will more than likely be the price. Maybe trying to catch the Rocket League sort of magic again.
So why fuck with everyone else who don't give a shit about that stuff. When I turn mine on I want it to play, if it doesn't, then I get pissed, not the other way around. Why can't there be a hacker group that goes against this kind of stuff. It makes no sense at all. They will just keep attacking regardless of whether Microsoft does anything or not. How is that causing progress.
