iOS 6 may have some really jank going on in it, but one good thing is the store was updated. It looks a lot nicer and is more in line with the Mac App store. One of the editor choice games was this game called Rayman: Jungle Run, I hadn't heard or seen anything about this game. It was £1.99 so i thought hey why not, i downloaded it and played a few levels and I dropped the iPad, ran to my Mac and started this topic.

So Rayman: Jungle Run is Rayman Origins, it looks identical to the PS3/360 version, so far the same awesome soundtrack and it even looks like it's running on the same engine. Now is where you say "This is not going to be able to provide the precision you need to play a Rayman game!" well I am here to say you don't need any. You see Rayman is always running, all you have to do is tap the screen to jump. It sounds very simple but basically all you do is jump, while jumping you collect lums and when you reach the end it will give you a total. If you get a perfect you get a tooth to give it to that guy in Rayman Origins. Your awarded with wallpapers and achievements.

This game is so far amazing, I'm honest when I say its the best game looking game I have seen on my iPad, I'm sad to see nobody talking about it. So here I am telling you to go and get it!

It is out for both iPhone and iPad, I am on the iPad version.

I wanna, man. But the Android version got delayed til next week. Looks awesome.

Nah, I'm good. Words with Friends is all the mobile game I need.

I bought it one my iPad Generation 1 and love it. It's not nearly as deep as the console version (obviously) but delivers a great mobile experience.

I've been playing it on my iPhone. Really enjoying it so far. Getting that achievement where you need to collect all the lums in the game without retrying is going to be crazy. XD

Better than I thought. I bought it on impulse without even thinking about the fact that half the crap on iOS now hates the iPad 1. It's a little snaggy at the beginning of the level, but thankfully there's enough pre-running time that it goes smooth.

I hope they continue to add more levels, I'd wager this is quite short. I'd happily pay for more.

Yeah its funny how he was in obscurity for years being banded around by name alone with Rabbids and now he came back with a good game and they're already milking it all over the place. I'm slightly feeling overkill on that art now too which when I first saw it I thought it looked amazing.

I've been really getting into buying games on my iPhone lately just because my new job takes an hour bus ride
The last month ive bought walking dead, final fantasy 3, the world ends with you, cafe Nippon (Resterant game by the guys who made game dev story), doodle god and 10,000,000.

Picked this up and am loving it. I need to finally get Origins soon.

I bought it and, ya know, it's fine for what it is. I like the art and music and stuff, but it's just... you're just pushing a button. I don't know, iPhone gaming just isn't really for me. I actually haven't dug around the app store much, I bet there's some good turn-based RPGs out there, where the lack of buttons isn't really a hindrance.

I think its a great game for portability, do a level put it down.

I love Origins, though I still need to beat it. I don't normally buy apps, but I might make this an exception...
